No heat. Customer stated the furnace would click on and off many times when running. Upon inspection, i noticed the heat exchanger to be very clogged thus not allowing for proper ventilation of exhaust gas causing the system to overheat and when it cools down it will turn on again and keep doing the same thing. Due to clogged heat exchanger, the furnace is failing potential of carbon monoxide to leak into air stream in the near future Furnace is from 1987 and not parts are available, set up a time for install supervisor to stop out and give replacement options Customers going with option B 97% or c 96% submitting to insurance left portable heater follow up tmmr

Installed Bradford White RG2PV75H6N power-vent water heater. Connected gas line using flexible connector. Installed new B-vent piping. Set gas pressure to 5" W.C. Adjusted thermostat to 120°F. Installed expansion tank. Tested TPR valve and verified proper venting with smoke test.

I responded to a furnace not kicking on in Wyoming, MI. Upon inspection, I found a faulty igniter that was preventing the system from starting. I replaced the damaged igniter with a new OEM part and tested the furnace through a complete heating cycle. The system is now operating efficiently, and heat has been restored. Replace furnace and air conditioning system including the following: Goodman Furnace, 96% efficient, 40,000 BTU, Single Stage Heating Furnace with fixed ECM Blower Motor, 6 speed Goodman Air Conditioner, Up to 13.4 SEER 2, 2 ton Inside- Furnace installed in a drain pan on 2" tall corner "feet" with isolator material on top to help alleviate any potential vibration noise Drain pan equipped with wet switch or drain pipe run to floor drain New return boot with external 1" filter rack with filter cover All new condensate drain pipe with clear, see through, serviceable drain trap with clean out brush(installed on evaporator coil) Install appliance connector on furnace vent, then re-connect vent pipe New copper line set with new control wire Tape all sheet metal joints we connect to with tin pressure tape Custom made sheet metal adapters from existing duct to new equipment Outside- New AC poly pad 3" tall per code regulation New outdoor condenser coil New service disconnect New electrical

System is passed its life expectancy and does not meet modern efficiency standards. We at GR Metro cannot guarantee the safety and operational integrity of this system and therefore recommend replacement. Client decided to move forward with replacing the AC.
