Club member tuneup, furnace is 21 years old, certain parts are showing wear and deterioration from age. Checked flame sensor, spark igniter, motors and filter. Blower motor was showing some concern with the bearings leaking oil. All the other parts of the furnace are operating as they should. The heat exchanger is also showing a lot of wear and corrosion but there is no signs of any cracks yet. Went over repair options and the customer will reach out when he is ready to move forward with options

Performed heating system tuneup. Inducer motor and blower motor amp draws all within proper specification. Tested system safeties and ignition components. Pulled and cleaned flame sensor. Gas pressures and temperature rise are within range. Tested condensate trap and drainage system. Verified the safety and integrity of the heat exchanger. System is operating properly at this time and is in overall good condition. Replace 5” filter. Recommend checking every three to six months. Thank you for having us out!

David was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection of our furnace and provided valuable advice.

Tune up. 20 year old furnace. Did noticed Wear on the heat exchanger. I also noticed the draft motor seal is leaking water causing serious rust damage and wear on the board and other components. Flame sensor is also worn. Blower has bearing play and is leaking oil, wheel is also very dirty Everything else on the furnace is acceptable at this time. Customer opted to have an install supervisor out for a quote on replacement options

Club member tune up. Upon inspection I noticed a failure in the heat exchanger, I also noticed the main blower to be leaking oil and have an extreme amount of play in the bearings causing it be loud and loose. Inducer motor is also starting to leak and corroded and getting very hot while running. Igniter is also very worn as well. I called the supply house and they said heat exchangers are not available and have no lead time. After going over repair options she decided to have an install supervisor come out and provide replacement options
Great service
It was a pleasure serving you and your family. Thank you for sharing your kind words with us. It means the world to us and to our entire team!

We were out today to take a look at the flow tree in the mechanical room. Has been steady at 10 gpm, which used to display 3 gpm. This flow three measures the rate of the hydronic side of the system, so is separate from the geothermal loop. Tried to reduce flow to the hydronic loop, but I was unable to decrease flow below 10. Looked at the circulator and the rated flow rate is 21.7 gpm, so that should have never displayed any lower than 10, unless the pump is larger than the one that used to be on the system. This pump was installed by a different company. Currently consulting with a design engineer from Johnstone Supply. Will be in touch to discuss corrective actions if the engineer recommends it. At this time the system is heating well it is working properly. Thank you for having us out.

Returned to start up heat pump after well pump replacement. Replaced leaking expansion tank for boiler loop. Purged system and restored operation. Well after temperature differential: 51 inlet; 43 out (8 degree delta) Infloor supply temp: 111.2 degrees Infloor return temp: 100.1 degrees System is operating properly at this time. Also test ran the electric boiler, which is also working properly at this time. Thank you for having us out!
Great guys
We thank you for sharing your positive experience. It made our day.

We were out today because the geothermal system was not working. Found no water flow coming from the well. Compressor kicks on, but then kicks off after a couple minutes. Thermal switch opens due to no flow. Calling his well company to look into it and also wants a quote on a new geo. Thank you for having us out!
