Customer isn’t in a hurry for replacement

System not heating, Kicked right on when I got to the home. Unit ran fine for the duration of my visit today. Checked over system thoroughly and found everything testing within specs. Client replaced the igniter. I replaced the ceramic wire nuts, since those don’t connect well, in case that was the issue. Suspect possible issue with blower motor. Client will monitor. Replaced failed inducer and restored operation. Checked over the rest of the furnace and everything else looks good. Thank you for having us out!

Furnace tune up. Cleaned flame sensor, changed filter. Cleared drains. Checked motor amps and temperatures. Everything working correctly at this time. Did notice system missing surge protection. Customer approved surge protection install

Tuneup, noticed flame sensor, igniter and the motors to be pretty worn. Customer went with flame sensor, igniter and motor capacitor repairs.

We were out today because system is overheating. Verified thermostat is failed. Replaced thermostat to restore operation. Please note: Client has a steam boiler, which is not something we work on. Recommended alternate option for boiler maintenance. In the future, if they would like to upgrade to a hydronic boiler, that is something we can take care of. Boiler is running and shutting off when it is supposed to. Thank you for having us out!

Club tune up. Noticed furnace flames were kicking in and out due to pressure switch and inducer wearing down. The igniter was also worn. With customer approval. I Replaced failing inducer and pressure switch and worn igniter. After installation everything working correctly at this time

Furnace not heating properly. This was due to clogged filter. I replaced filter and replaced water panel. Reduced gas pressure slightly. System working properly at this time

We were out today for a furnace tuneup. Client related that he had one of the flame rollout switches trip the other day. He reset it and got unit running again. Found the heat exchanger cells are splitting at the top seam. Flames are activity coming through the top of the heat exchanger, rendering the furnace in an extremely unsafe condition. During safety inspection, it was noticed that the heat exchanger has failed. According to the American Gas Association: “Any visible crack or hole is reason for requiring replacement of the heat exchanger or furnace.” A failure in the furnace heat exchanger has the potential of leaking out carbon monoxide into the living space. For this reason, for the safety of your family, we have tagged the furnace as unsafe to operate and have turned power off to the unit. Any attempt to bring furnace back into service is against our recommendation and is done so at the discretion of the homeowner.

Front grill cover of the mini split head won’t stay in place. Keeps popping out by itself. Ordered new front grill and grill clamps and will return to swap those out when we receive them. Thank you for having us out!

We were out today because system was failing to heat the home. Code on the control board indicates a rollout switch was tripped. Found water damage on rollout switch. Removed entire burner assembly and inducer motor. Cleaned burners, flame sensor, and spark igniter. Replaced both rollout switches. Re-sealed back of inducer housing and vent connections. Re-installed inducer. Restored operation. System is now operating properly at this time. Thank you for having us out!

No heat. Inducer melted the pressure switch wiring. With customer approval I replaced motor and tubing and system works correctly at this time

We were out today because client was having to set the temperature higher on her thermostat to be comfortable. Used to have an old mercury style thermostat. New digital one will take some getting used to. I did adjust furnace staging and set temperature offset on thermostat for optimal comfort. System is operating properly. Thank you for having us out!
